Your Guide To Snorkeling in the Mamanuca Islands

Honeymoon Island: Honeymoon Island is a small uninhabited island near Malolo. Just off the shore, there is a coral reef drop-off. This is a private island owned by nearby resorts so only snorkeling here.

Mana Sandbank: Just a short distance from Mana Island, you’ll find the Mana Sandbank. A short swim off the sandbank lies coral reefs home to blue starfish and colorful tropical fish. The waters around the Mana Sandbank are shallow and calm, making it a perfect spot for both beginners and experienced snorkelers.

Rainbow Reef: Pass the floating restaurant/bar, Seventh Heaven, you’ll find Rainbow Reef. Not to be confused with the well known Rainbow Reef by Taveuni Island, the Mamanuca Island’s Rainbow Reef is a must stop snorkeling spot.

Namimi Reef: Namimi Reef is located at the south side of Yanuya Island. Not many people know about this snorkeling spot so you might have the colorful reefs and fish all to yourself!

Jackie’s Reef: Nearby Beachcomber Island is Jackie’s Reef. One of the most popular spots for snorkeling in the Mamanucas for a reason.
